Who was more excited, me or the kids?
Although we need to build a stand around the table for them to be able to reach the dough. And washing their hands takes an hour in its self and almost turns in to a shower for everyone. Also half of them “do not need to wash their hands, cause we licked them clean already”. Tying a knot is hard to explain, who knew they have velcro shoes these days? Also when you bake at home you just need flour and chocolate chips!
But still the best is their uninhibbited enthusiasm. I so love the way they marvel at my work, as many expressed “my dad has a normal job”.
Thanks for the excitement Mrs. DeWitt, it was fun entertaining them for a morning.
